THREES
Our Threes are becoming “big kids” as they move to the upstairs classrooms. Independence grows as they “check-in” each morning and wash their hands. Dramatic play is a favorite at this age. The kitchen is a busy place as the children role play mommy and daddy and the world around them. Our CUMP Threes literacy focus is the role of letters as a part of words. The calendar is introduced during our morning circle time. It is here that many math concepts are practiced, such as rote counting, number recognition, patterning and beginning time concepts.
